Background & Lineage

As a daughter of AfroCarolina, my work is dedicated to my ancestors, the land, the magnolias and sycamores, the red clay, and flowing rivers that have held and witnessed generations of my people’s existence. I am also an organizer, cultural worker, family archivist, regional food systems worker, and herbalist.

I’ve been blessed to apprentice and work with:

  • DC Mutual Aid Apothecary

  • Iwilla Remedies Herbal Medicine for the Soul Certificate Program

  • Tierra Negra Farm
